There's been quite a few updates on Guitar Hero 5 in the last few days, so I thought I'd combine them into one post.
Firstly, as you can see from the image above, the new guitar controller for the game has been revealed. It doesn't look too different from the World Tour guitar but there's a few nice aesthetic touches such as a chrome finish on the tuning pegs and an improved faceplate that improve the overall look. The strum bar and touch pads have also been improved, which is good news as these were two of the biggest problems with the World Tour controller.

The list of achievements has also been revealed. They give a few hints at what we can expect from the game. A few of these seem like they're going to be extremely difficult, such as "score over 3,000,000 points in a song". No doubt that'll only be possible with a full band on the 13 minute long song, with everyone playing on Expert.

And finally a trailer, highlighting some of the new features has been released as well.
