Activision has confirmed what some of the more observant Guitar Hero fans already knew, that their XBox 360 avatars will be usable as playable characters in Guitar Hero 5.
Much like the Mii integration option in the Wii version of World Tour, XBox users will be able to use their avatars to rock out with on the 360 version. Of course anyone who took a look at the achievement list, would've already noticed this feature, since there's an achievement for using an avatar.
But at least we now have a trailer of it in action. The Gametrailers trailer, shows off Geoff Keighley and a few other Gametrailers staff rocking out.

There's also a similar trailer on the XBox Live Marketplace, with a few other XBox personalities giving the feature a go.
