The Gamescomm convention in Germany is in it's second day, so we've got a few more updates for ya.
Harmonix has stated that they should have over 1,000 songs in Rock Band by the end of the year. This would double the library from the same time a year ago.
The part of the article that was really interesting though was that Harmonix CEO, Alex Rigopulos stated that songs from Queen, Nirvana, Tom Petty, Elton John, Iggy Pop, The White Stripes, Pantera, Talking Heads, Korn, The Raconteurs, and more would all be coming before the end of the year. Sounds good to me! Hopefully this means we'll get those last three songs from Nirvana's, Nevermind album that were missing from their first DLC pack.

They also talked a bit about The Beatles: Rock Band. The full albums will be available for download starting with Abbey Road on October 20, followed by Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in November and Rubber Soul in December.
And what sounds cool is that anyone who downloads Abbey Road will get the option to perform the 16-minute B-side medley as one continuous song, which includes "You Never Give Me Your Money," "Sun King," "Mean Mr. Mustard," "Polythene Pam," "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window," "Golden Slumbers," "Carry That Weight" and "The End."
Check the link for the full track listing of all three albums.

And finally there's been some more media released for LEGO Rock Band. Check out the screens here.
