Apparently Guitar Hero isn't the only music game, getting on the celebrity cameo bandwagon.
It's been revealed that Iggy Pop from The Stooges will be appearing in LEGO Rock Band as a LEGO minifigure version.

There's also a bunch of new screenshots of the game out too, many of them featuring Iggy.

Also interestingly Bon Jovi revealed to BBC that he declined the chance to be featured as a playable character in Guitar Hero 5, stating "I had the paperwork, they wanted me to be on that game and I just passed."
He also expressed surprise to hear that if he had have signed on, that his character wouldn't just be singing his song but everyone else's in the game too.
So with all this Courtney Love suing Activision stuff going on, it seems that Activision have not been 100% forthcoming with all the details of these playable character deals.
